ACCOMMODATIONS
| From the outside, the main house resembles a barn. Inside, the towering ceiling and large wooden beam continues this theme. Many guests say that the unique and spacious living area with a 3-way stone fireplace, and huge picture windows, resembles a lodge.
The 3 bedroom, 3 bath house sleeps six to eight, and has heating/air conditioning, cable TV, VCR, FAX, and fully equipped country kitchen.
Outside, there is a large deck around the front of the house featuring a gas barbecue. Swimming is available in a natural setting in one of our lakes.
The stunning view from the house includes a panorama of Home Lake, with pastures and stables beneath you, and then stretches for miles to the San Joaquin valley, and a range of mountains that casts colorful sunsets.
The author of "Easy Camping" (which reviews over 100 recreational/vacation spots in California) made this observation: "In fact, the ranch house's panoramic view and big fireplace are so enchanting that it may be hard for you to leave the premises." Rates include towels and sheets which are provided, and outstanding fishing (catch and release) in one of our 5 lakes. We offer horseback riding to ranch guests only at a nominal fee of $15 per person, per hour. (Riding rates elsewhere in the area average between $25 and $50.)
